Job Description

The Business Development Coordinator drives regional market engagement and business development initiatives through coordination and management of market engagement initiatives, sales process facilitations, research, and pursuit coordination, along with coordination of budget. The BDC will, on occasion, provide support for corporate functions, including but not limited to budget reconciliation & forecasting, HIT rate reporting and analysis, lead prospecting, and other operational or strategic initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities

Market Engagement
  • Liaison with partner organizations to identify opportunities for engagement via membership, networking events, sponsorship, and industry, market, and service presentation opportunities.
  • Regional event manager to include pre and post event meetings. procurement of sponsorships, abstract submittals, presentation, client invitations, social media development and maintenance and organization of event contact files.
  • Responsible for utilizing D365 for accounts & contacts for targeted list for holiday engagement, calendar distribution and event invites for market engagement to include holiday emails and/or gifts, open houses, and calendar distribution.
  • Represents CRB at engagement events when required.

Sales Process Facilitation
  • Facilitation of Regional Account Management, Seller Doer 1 and strategic pursuit meetings, compiles plans & presentations, drives client portfolio updates, keeping D365 updated for tracking of engagement activity and goals.
  • Facilitation of Go No-Go sales process and ensure adherence to meeting attendee requirements.
  • Strategic Account Management coordination when required.
  • RFI submission management when required.
  • Pipeline management to include set-up, maintenance and closure when required.

Research & Pursuit Coordination
  • Performs prospecting research utilizing LinkedIn Sales Navigator, IIR, Crunchbase, Zoom and other industry websites.
  • Creates and maintains prospective account and contact data in Dynamics.
  • Schedule and organize internal meetings prospecting pursuits.

Budget, Expenses, & SWAG
  • Coordinate budget with BD Directors and internal office team for market engagement, travel, publications, and SWAG expenses.
  • Monitor budget reconciliations for adherence and escalate when necessary.
  • Timely expense submission and American Express reconciliation
  • SWAG & holiday gift procurement & inventory management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Advanced computer skills required for Microsoft Office Dynamics(D365), Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) required.
  • A professional, assertive, well organized and initiative-taking candidate with the ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices.
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent grammar, proofreading, and editing capabilities.
