SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Sourcer plays a critical role in identifying, engaging, and attracting top talent to support the organization's hiring goals. This position focuses on proactively building strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill, niche, and senior-level roles by leveraging advanced sourcing strategies, market research, and relationship-building techniques. The Senior Sourcer partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to understand workforce needs, define search strategies, and deliver high-quality candidate leads. This role requires deep expertise in modern sourcing tools, Boolean search techniques, competitive market mapping, and candidate engagement strategies. The Senior Sourcer acts as a leader within the talent acquisition team, mentoring junior sourcers, and driving innovation in sourcing practices to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS (each duty and function listed indicates % of time to total 100%):
  • Possesses advanced sourcing techniques including expertise in Boolean search strings and advanced filters. This role will require a high level of knowledge utilizing social platforms and AI-powered sourcing tools and automation processes. 20%
  • Expert level candidate engagement & stakeholder relationship management. Experienced with nurturing passive candidates through effective communication, ability to develop and manage talent pipelines and creating compelling employer branded messages that resonate with prospective candidates. 20%
  • Drive hiring goals with strategic thinking and ability to align sourcing strategies as necessary. This includes anticipating hiring needs, establishing and maintaining candidate nurturing pools to support long-term hiring needs. 15%
  • Gather, analyze and interpret market research and data including understanding talent availability, market trends, hiring patterns, salary benchmarks, and industry shifts, with proficiency in using analytics dashboards and ATS/CRM reporting to track sourcing performance. 25%
  • Maintain a strong stakeholder and hiring manager partnership creating a high level of collaboration. This role requires you to be the subject matter expert (SME) with the ability to develop and implement data backed sourcing strategies. May include diversity-focused sourcing strategies. 15%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
This individual will have at least 10+ years of experience as a process, documentation and/or technical writer, focusing on software & services.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent sourcing or recruitment, preferably in a senior or lead capacity
  • Experience in advanced sourcing skills including Boolean searches, AI-powered tools and curating technology
  • Ability to analyze data towards KPI goal

COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Working knowledge of computers including Windows environments, email, and the internet.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn AgileOne proprietary technology.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to utilize various talent acquisition technologies and tools, including but not limited to communication tools, sourcing platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) systems, social media and engagement platforms.
