The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily clinic activities to support efficient operations and high-quality patient care. This role monitors and assists clinic staff with referral processing, insurance authorizations, patient scheduling, and care coordination. The Clinical Coordinator works closely with providers, authorization specialists, and other specialties to ensure referrals, procedures, and appointments are accurately scheduled and completed in a timely manner. The position requires a strong understanding of clinic policies, procedures, and departmental workflows, as well as the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact patient experience or care delivery. The Clinical Coordinator also ensures adherence to patient safety protocols and supports an optimal, patient-centered experience.

Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience and Additional Information

Two (2) - three (3) years minimum experience in a clinical setting. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Medical Assistant experience should be counted
