Job Description

At Rho, Data Management is responsible for the collection, processing and cleaning of clinical trial subject data.  Our Data Management team collaborates with the study team to develop robust data management systems and ensure quality data.  We are looking for an entry/intermediate level Data Manager to join our team to support study data management activities. This is a great opportunity to gain needed industry experience from a very talented Data Management Team and successful grow and contribute within our department.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews study protocols and applies protocol-specified guidelines to the collection, processing, review and cleaning of subject data
  • Supports study start-up, maintenance and finalization tasks as defined by the Data Management Lead, including
    • Database and edit check development and testing for the collection of subject data
    • Development of the data management and validation plans
    • Listing development for the review of subject data
    • Review of and identification of findings in subject data
    • Raising and addressing queries on subject data
    • Working in Electronic Data Capture systems
    • Freezing/locking of subject data
    • Production of study and subject reports
  • Works closely with data management team to ensure quality study execution and Client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and have the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously in support of various studies
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Nice to have exposure to Electronic Data Capture systems like Rave and/or exposure to analytic softwares like SAS and R
