The main purpose of the Controlled Substance Administrator's position is to review, pick and pack-controlled substances sales orders as well as maintain records and inventory in accordance with DEA regulations.
Schedule: 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday - Thursday, and 8:30am - 5:00pm Friday
Salary: $25.43 - $29/hr

Responsibilities & Duties:
Prepare Controlled Substance Orders
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork for each customer is up to date.
- Ensure that DEA license and state license on file are current.
- Authenticate controlled substance orders according to the due diligence SOP.
- Conduct any phone calls or investigations as needed prior to picking orders.
- Pick and Pack the product for the sales orders.
- Perform daily data entry as required in Federal Databases
- File all documentation according to SOPs and Federal Regulations
Inventory Management
- Perform Cycle Counts and other required inventory.
- Maintain an accurate inventory and investigate discrepancies.
- Oversee inventory and receipt of Supply Chain Transfers.
- Prepare inventory reports as needed for DEA submission
Abide by all security requirements as they pertain to Controlled Substances
Support the Packaging of Controlled Substances with Production
- Audit packaging rooms from controlled substances.
- Approve work orders and sign off control for the packaging.
- Communicate the release of material to other departments & complete material reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) years' experience in quality control.
- Knowledge of DEA is considered an asset.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Experience shipping hazardous and dangerous goods an asset.
- Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Detail oriented with a strong customer focus.
- Excellent communication skills required; fluent English (oral & written).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro is an asset.
