Job Duties:
- Maintain a clean and safe work station, dishes, equipment, kitchen, and dining area
- Prepare food as directed by dietary supervisor
- Abide by all dietary orders and safety guidelines for each resident.
- Assist in serving meals
- Maintain a positive attitude towards co-workers and residents
- Report to the dietary supervisor
- Other dietary responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to read and follow directions for all product labels, charts, orders, signs, etc... within the facility.
- Ability to follow guidance of the dietary supervisor
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for long hours
