Cook AT is currently accepting applications for a Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This position is responsible for the application of engineering principles to research and develop various medical devices under the direction of an Engineer.

Cook AT is currently accepting applications for a Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This position is responsible for the application of engineering principles to research and develop various medical devices under the direction of an Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Interact with Engineers to plan, complete and report results of experiments, tests, prototype development, literature surveys, etc.
- Provide support to other team members upon request and where reasonable.
- Ask questions and learn about project expectations while driving toward scientific excellence.
- Work with engineers to define tasks.
- Follow procedures pertinent to tasks being performed.
- Ensure that appropriate documentation is kept detailing project history (reports, laboratory notebooks, invention disclosures, scientific literature, meeting notes, deliverables, etc.)
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or a recent graduate of a BS (or advanced degree) program in engineering, engineering technology, engineering science or equivalent experience.
- Conscientious person with good work ethic.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate the completion of deliverables and tasks.
- Teachable, positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and to help.
- Ability to effectively communicate and constructively collaborate with colleagues.
- Personal discipline.
- Ability to work with multiple persons and the multiple priorities that occur when each person has different needs.
- Ability to remain professional and positive in all personal interactions.
