Job Description

When will you work?
  • The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm
  • May require occasional off-shift, weekend, or on-call support based on operational needs

What you'll do:
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations
  • Assist with safety inspections, audits, and regulatory readiness; document findings and follow up on corrective actions
  • Participate in incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and root cause analysis
  • Partner with operations, warehouse, quality, and people teams to identify hazards and reinforce safe work practices
  • Deliver and support EHS training including new hire orientation and ongoing safety education
  • Support environmental compliance efforts including waste management, hazardous materials handling, and spill prevention
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reporting, and tracking of safety metrics
  • Assist with emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response coordination
  • Promote safety engagement through committees, awareness campaigns, and safety initiatives
  • Monitor adherence to safety policies and escalate concerns as needed
  • Stay current on regulatory updates and industry best practices

Who you are:
  • Safety-focused with a strong understanding of workplace compliance and risk mitigation
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage documentation, reporting, and follow-ups effectively
  • Strong communicator who can engage employees at all levels
  • Collaborative and able to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment while driving safety and compliance

What you've done:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, warehouse, or regulated environments
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
  • Experience supporting inspections, audits, and incident investigations
  • Experience delivering or facilitating safety training
  • Experience in pharmacy, life sciences, or regulated environments strongly preferred
  • Professional certifications (ASP, CSP in progress, or equivalent) preferred
