Essential Functions

• Painting interior and exterior
• Assist other contractors and technicians when on-site
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Respond and prioritize calls to assess and repair item(s)
• Custodial work may be assigned to include but not limited to:

• Sweep and mop floors
• Empty waste receptacles and replace liners
• Maintain outside walking areas including sweeping debris
• Vacuuming offices, hallways and floor mat in walkways
• Clean and polish fixtures
• Gather bags of cans for recycling pickup
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Dust office and front lobby furniture
• Disinfect all surfaces in break room
• Clean, disinfect and polish all drinking fountains
• Polish all chrome work and door handles

• Observe and apply organizational policies, laws, rules and regulations
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Participate in and complete all company-required training
• Maintain the proper use, cleaning and storage of all tools
• Address other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years working in facilities maintenance or similar field is an asset
• Excellent oral and written communication and documentation is needed
• Attention to detail and strong customer service skills is crucial
• Must be flexible working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Physical / Mental Demands

• Frequent standing, occasional walking and/or climb stairs
• Frequent lifting, occasional carrying of items up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
• Occasional pushing and pulling
• Normal vision and hearing
• Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Prolonged performing of repetitive work
• Strong organizational and analytical skills a must.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors as needed
• Ability to prioritize work and multiple projects to meet deadlines and deliver excellent results.
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with team members and contract manufacturers (domestic and international).
