Responsibilities/Duties:
- Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
- Maintain active communication with the client facility and pharmacy staff.
- Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
- Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
- Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
- Replace potentially expiring inventory.
- Restock depleted inventory.
- Monthly audits (cycle count).
- Provide reports for the facility.
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Important: Must be local to the Omaha area.
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
- A valid driver's license and active car insurance.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Willing to drive long distances in the State of Nebraska.
- Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
- Able to use various programs and applications efficiently, and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, walk, bend, and crouch frequently.
- Ability to occasionally perform light lifting (up to 20 pounds) and repetitious physical activity.
- Repetitive computer and phone use.
- Work is performed in a pharmacy and office environment.
Schedule:
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
