- Document and manage all service activities, billing and quality records accurately, whether working in-house, at customer facilities or remotely, ensuring traceability and compliance with our quality standards.
- Plan and manage your schedule in close coordination with Dispatch and your Area Service Manager, maintaining accurate calendar entries and balancing workload to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Build strong customer relationships by combining excellent technical expertise with clear, proactive communication and a consistently professional, "can-do" attitude before, during and after each service visit.
- Manage spare parts inventory and company assets
What sets you apart

- Strong hands-on technical skills in installation, troubleshooting, calibration and repair of instruments or equipment, with the ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- A structured, reliable working style: you plan your calls carefully, keep your calendar and documentation up to date and manage your time efficiently across multiple service requests.
- Customer-oriented communication skills - written and verbal - that help you explain technical topics clearly, set realistic expectations and create a positive service experience.
- Proven ability to work independently in the field while staying closely connected with Dispatch, your Area Service Manager and colleagues to align priorities and share information.
- A flexible mindset and willingness to travel, including routine and sometimes short-notice overnight trips, to be where customers and service needs require you
What we offer
- Purpose and impact. Your work keeps critical laboratory instruments running reliably, directly supporting researchers and clinicians who improve people's lives.
- We value your expertise. A competitive compensation package with an annual base salary of $75k - $85k, as well as a bonus potential, that reflects your technical skills, field experience and customer impact.
- Mobile and flexible work. A field-based role with a company vehicle and the autonomy to organize your service visits in coordination with your team.
- Comprehensive benefits. Access to a competitive total rewards package, including health, financial and other benefits that support you in different stages of life.
- Room to grow. Ongoing service training, certifications and development opportunities that deepen your technical knowledge and open up future career paths.
- Strong team behind you. Close collaboration with dispatch, service management and technical experts who support you in the field.
