The Floater Pharmacist appropriately dispenses prescribed drugs, handles incoming physician calls, logs data into the computer, performs Rx workflow processing, and conducts drug utilization reviews.

This is a full-time position based in Kissimmee, FL (1110 Kevstin Dr) and covering three other locations in FL. The other locations are Orlando, Wilton Manors, and Fort Myers.

When working in Wilton Manors and Fort Myers, this Pharmacist will need to travel and stay overnight in a hotel (~eight weeks/year) - travel and hotel accommodations will be provided.

The Kissimmee and Orlando stores are open M-F 9-5.

Wilton Manors is open M-F 10-6 and Fort Myers is open M-Th 8-5 and F 8-12.

About the Role:

• Properly dispense, order, and maintain proper inventory of drugs and supplies, pursuant to all state and federal laws
• Maintain the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and services
• Assist with managing pharmacy operations and supervising Pharmacy Technicians/Clerks
• Collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
• Keep abreast of changing laws, regulations, and new pharmacy-related programs
• Consult with clinic providers, administrators, and other personnel as appropriate
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Perform in accordance with company policies and standards

About You:

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of FL
• 1+ year of full-time retail pharmacist experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Willing and able to travel for business as needed (~20% to 25%)
• Excellent interpersonal, customer-service, managerial, and communication skills
• Able to efficiently work, mentor, and supervise staff in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with the 340B Program a plus

Pay range: $120,000-$145,000 annual salary, based on credentials and geographic location.
