Human Resources Generalist (Temporary Assignment)

Job Description
Are you an experienced HR professional ready to return to the workforce or looking for a flexible opportunity to put your skills back to work? Or maybe you're proficient in one area of HR and would like to expand your knowledge into other areas. This approximately six-month assignment may be the right fit.
Arrow Finishing is looking for someone who already understands HR, enjoys supporting people, and can step in with confidence into our People & Culture Department. You'll work closely with our P&C Manager and play an important role in recruiting, payroll, onboarding, and day-to-day People & Culture operations during a period of growth. Whether you're returning to HR after time away or looking for a meaningful short-term opportunity, this role offers the chance to bring your experience back into a collaborative and supportive environment.
What You'll Do
• Lead recruiting from posting through onboarding
• Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews
• Perform weekly payroll
• Support payroll readiness through audits, reports, and employee changes
• Maintain HR records and HRIS information
• Partner with leaders to provide exceptional team member support

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3+ years of experience working in Human Resources
- 2+ years of payroll experience preferred
- 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
