Job Summary
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team by developing, coordinating, and executing internal communications and employee engagement projects. This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual interested in HR, communications, and employee experience. The intern will contribute to building effective communication processes, creating engaging content, and supporting HR-driven programs and events.

Job Summary
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team by developing, coordinating, and executing internal communications and employee engagement projects. This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual interested in HR, communications, and employee experience. The intern will contribute to building effective communication processes, creating engaging content, and supporting HR-driven programs and events.
Key Duties
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Internal Communications & Content Creation
- Develop and recommend engaging content for internal communication channels, including intranet, email campaigns, digital signage, and social media platforms
- Assist in creating and maintaining a consistent voice and branding across HR communications
- Draft announcements and supporting materials to support HR initiatives
- Recommend improvements to the company's internal intranet site with current and relevant information
Process Development & Project Support
- Assist in creating and improving communication processes for HR programs, projects and intranet
- Support planning, coordination, and execution of HR communication campaigns
- Track engagement metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Benefits & Wellness Program Coordination
- Support coordination of employee benefits-related events such as flu shot clinics and 401(k) informational meetings
- Assist with communications, scheduling, vendor coordination, and employee reminders for benefits programs
- Help create educational materials to increase employee awareness and participation in benefits offerings
Employee Engagement & Events
- Participate in and support the Employee Events Committee and or Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee
- Assist in planning and promoting company events, recognition programs, and engagement activities
- Help gather employee feedback and suggest ideas to enhance workplace culture
Administrative & General HR Support
- Provide general support to HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Maintain organized records of communications and project materials
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs throughout the workday in a multi-location facility
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (latex or nitrile gloves, safety glasses/face shields, lab coat, etc.)
- Must be able to adhere to applicable bio-safety practices when on the manufacturing floor
- Ability to work on a PC including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for long periods throughout the course of the workday
- Must be able to analyze, concentrate, and solve complex issues throughout the workday
Qualifications
Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required/Preferred
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
