Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Case Officer (CO) or Collection Management Officer (CMO) to serve as an Instructor supporting advanced operational training for Intelligence Community professionals. The ideal candidate brings extensive HUMINT operational experience, a passion for mentoring the next generation of officers, and the ability to translate real-world operational expertise into engaging, scenario-based instruction. Candidates should possess recent operational experience and a strong understanding of intelligence tradecraft and operational methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical instruction on HUMINT operations and operational tradecraft.
• Develop and facilitate realistic training scenarios based on operational experience.
• Mentor and evaluate students throughout the training lifecycle.
• Provide subject matter expertise on case officer operations, collection management, and field tradecraft.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to refine and enhance course material.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Support course planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of evolving operational tactics, methodologies, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
• Case Officer (CO) or Certified Collection Management Officer (CMO) experiene.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting, developing, and handling HUMINT assets.
• Operational HUMINT experience within the past seven (7) years preferred.
• Field operational experience.
• Familiarity with UTS concepts and methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present complex operational concepts in an instructional environment.

Desired Skills

• Formal instructor certification or previous teaching experience.
• Experience developing training curriculum.
• Advanced knowledge of operational tradecraft and intelligence collection.
• Previous experience supporting Intelligence Community training programs.

Additional Details

Fusion Innovation anticipates the annual base salary for this position will generally range from $100,000 to $215,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to:

• Years of direct applicable experience with this work and the customer
• Relevant education, certifications, and training
• Contract labor category requirements, skill level, contract bill rate, and hours allocation
• Alignment with the position's responsibilities
• Additional specialized skills

In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be considered for discretionary bonuses and are eligible for Fusion Innovation's comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, company-sponsored retirement contributions, paid leave, professional development opportunities, and other employee benefits.
