Summary

The Intern/aide will conduct computational research. They will analyze already-collected data on cultured neurons using Cryo Electron Tomography and develop basic computational tools and models to support the research. This is a part-time, 10 hours/week position.

Job Duties

• Analyzes Cryo Electron Tomography data.
• Develops computational tools and models of the data.
• Learns about hypothesis generation and testing, imaging data analysis.
• Works on research and manuscript preparation.
• Attends lab meetings.
• Attends department seminars and other intellectual enrichment activities.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Undergraduate with some experience in Cryo Electron Tomography and computational methods.
