Position Summary
Justice Cannabis Co. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary HR Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This is a hands-on opportunity for a college student or recent graduate looking to gain real-world experience in Human Resources.
Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and able to provide valid I-9 documentation to verify authorization to work in the United States.
The HR Intern will support the HR team with daily administrative functions, employee engagement efforts, and general HR processes. This role offers exposure to multiple areas of HR, providing a strong foundation for those interested in building a career in the field.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks and documentation
• Support onboarding processes, including organizing new hire paperwork and tracking completion
• Assist with employee check-ins and engagement initiatives
• Provide support with internal programs such as years of service recognition
• Help maintain accurate and organized HR records and files
• Assist with general HR projects and initiatives as needed
• Provide support on basic employee relations and HR processes, as appropriate and within training
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to provide valid I-9 documentation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
