Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The intern works closely with Legal and Compliance Department team and reports to the Director of Ethics & Compliance. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the ongoing implementation of the Compliance program, policy development, training, promotion of the program and escalation process, corrective action and auditing & monitoring. The intern will help maintain and improve internal communication channels, with a particular focus on promoting ethics and compliance within the company. This internship offers hands-on experience in compliance within a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for a student interested in corporate ethics & compliance, auditing, communications, and employee engagement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate and drive the compliance policy training curriculum.
• Update / refresh the Legal & Compliance intranet page with current content.
• Analyze intranet usage and structure, and make recommendations to improve layout, navigation, and employee engagement.
• Monitor expenses reported to ensure compliance with the policy.
• Conduct transaction analysis of compliance related activities.
• Document record retention structure and recommend / implement improvements.
• Support content planning and organization for internal campaigns, initiatives, and events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., People & Culture, Accounting & Finance, Professional Education, IT, and leadership) to gather information and ensure timely communication of projects.
• Perform other compliance-related tasks and projects as assigned.

POSITION EXPERTISE/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, marketing, human resources, or communications related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to organize information clearly and write for a professional, internal audience.
• Familiarity with content management systems, data analytics, intranets, or digital platforms is a plus
• Interest in compliance, auditing & monitoring, internal communications, employee engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace required.
