Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, and managing hardware and software systems according to company policies. Provide tier 1 helpdesk support for all employees. Purchase, organize, and obsolete IT Inventory assets.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, and managing hardware and software systems according to company policies. Provide tier 1 helpdesk support for all employees. Purchase, organize, and obsolete IT Inventory assets.
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Possess a good understanding of servers and desktop hardware, network switches, and mobile devices.
- Have 2+ years of experience working in IT or related technical fields.
- Have experience with cable-management, rack mounting, and splicing patch cables.
- Be meticulous in cataloging, organizing, and managing IT inventory.
- Love technology and be self-motivated to continuously learn and implement new tools and systems.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Order, receive and catalog parts and equipment.
- Full ownership of maintaining spare IT inventory and asset management.
- Assist users with IT issues like resetting password, printer cartridge replacement, monitor issues, etc.
- Install and/or replace IT equipment like laptops, desktops, switches, VOIP phones, UPS, Raspberry Pis.
- Configure and deploy mobile phones, tablets as per company policy.
- Escalate user issues to IT tech support / managers as needed.
- First contact IT support for walk-ins, Teams messages, and primary ownership of ticket queue.
- This position is in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and will maintain 5 x 8-hour workdays. The regularly scheduled days will be Monday - Friday, with weekends, after hours and possible holidays required for project completion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required
- Outstanding skills in organizing and managing inventory storage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- High-school degree or GED equivalent.
- Good customer service skills to work with users at all levels of technical aptitude.
- Ability to self-start and work independently on time-sensitive projects with little direct supervision.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Preferred Additional
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- IT Courses or Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco etc.)
