Position Overview
The primary role of the IT Support - Help Desk role is to field help desk calls and support the day-to-day end-user computer operations at Coating Place.

Position Overview
The primary role of the IT Support - Help Desk role is to field help desk calls and support the day-to-day end-user computer operations at Coating Place.
Essential Job Functions
- Point of contact for all Help Desk calls; log and track requests using ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.
- Support end-user computer hardware, software, and phones.
- Maintain Asset Tracking database.
- Assist in user training on software and devices.
- Analyze ongoing issues and propose long-term solutions.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff or system administrators as needed.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to support the department's knowledge base and SOPs.
- Follow all Coating Place cGMP and Coating Place safety practices, policies, and procedures.
- Employees at Coating Place work with and/or are familiar with the GMP requirements for Food, Dietary Supplements, Pharmaceuticals, or other elements of each.
- Depending on the position, the employee will be aware of Halal and/or Kosher requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Knowledge Required
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field, or enrolled in related program.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft SharePoint Online.
- Networking (CompTIA equivalent).
- Computer Basics (CompTIA equivalent).
- Familiar with Domain infrastructure on Windows Server 2019 and up.
- Understanding of Virtualization concepts (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix).
