Job Description: The Janitor is responsible for independently in a safe and efficient manner and maintaining the facility in a clean, orderly fashion that assures safety by promptly addressing housekeeping concerns. Additionally, supplying operational areas, performing general maintenance duties, completing other assigned tasks, and completing necessary documentation. Interact professionally with other supervisors, leads, and employees throughout the day.
Immediate, PART-TIME, Monday thru Friday, Occasional Overtime
Days: 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Job Description: The Janitor is responsible for independently in a safe and efficient manner and maintaining the facility in a clean, orderly fashion that assures safety by promptly addressing housekeeping concerns. Additionally, supplying operational areas, performing general maintenance duties, completing other assigned tasks, and completing necessary documentation. Interact professionally with other supervisors, leads, and employees throughout the day.
- Responsible for removing trash and disposing into dumpsters
- Responsible for inspecting, wiping, & sanitizing fixtures, touchpoints, surfaces, furniture, monitors/computers, partitions, etc.
- Responsible for cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors, vacuuming carpets and mats.
- Responsible for bathrooms, break room, hallways, offices, warehouse, lab, packaging, etc.
- Responsible for using, cleaning, maintaining a sweeper, scrubber, shampoo, etc.
- Clean all windows and doors (interior and exterior)
- Ensure grounds in good condition, free of litter.
- Count of supplies inventory
- Handle minimal landscaping, signs, weeding, as necessary.
- Responsible for general maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, special cleaning, indoor/outdoor tasks, etc.
- Work with uniform company to count outgoing/incoming against paperwork, and ensure placement in lockers, neatness of locker room

Position Requirements
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities /Strengths:
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as sweeper, scrubber, shampoo, mops
- Knowledge of cleaning processes, supplies including cleaners, soaps, disinfectants
- Familiarity with basic hand tools.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Janitor
- Basic math skills, English reading and writing
- Proficient in verbal communication
- Great work ethic and takes pride in a job well done.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to organize work.
- Observant and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb and reach
- Ability to see and hear within normal parameters
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
