Laboratory Technician (Evergreen Opportunities)

AgileOne is proactively building a talent pipeline for future Laboratory and Manufacturing Technician opportunities supporting Merck, a leading animal health biotechnology and manufacturing organization in Millsboro, Delaware.

Technicians support laboratory and manufacturing operations in a regulated environment by following established safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Successful candidates will contribute to production, quality, and operational excellence while working in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support laboratory and manufacturing operations in a regulated environment.
  • Prepare, clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment, materials, and work areas.
  • Assist with equipment setup, operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Support production activities including formulation, filling, labeling, packaging, and inspection.
  • Complete accurate documentation, logbooks, and electronic records.
  • Follow GMP, SOP, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Assist with environmental monitoring and compliance-related activities.
  • Report equipment issues, deviations, and unusual occurrences.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Health Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Laboratory, manufacturing, research, internship, or technical experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Basic computer, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.

Schedule
Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
Overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts may be required based on business needs.
