Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Examine and interpret images to determine if further studies are needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following established protocols and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and co-workers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and images in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing as needed.
- Continuously strive to improve knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education.
- Support the organization as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested.
- Demonstrates ability to use equipment relevant to the position.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records and image management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with current healthcare regulations and standards.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or related field.
- Certification as a Limited Radiology Technician (LRT) from an accredited program.
- At least 1 year of experience in a radiology setting.
