The opportunity
Envision Pharma Group is building a modern, connected HR function. The Manager, HR Technology is a key leadership role driving that vision forward.
You will own delivery of the HR technology roadmap, turning business and people priorities into scalable, well-integrated solutions. Leading the HR technology team day to day, you will guide implementations, optimisations, and step in on complex configuration, integration, or automation challenges when needed. Acting as the link between HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors, you will keep delivery on track while contributing to the wider HR technology strategy. Your work will ensure HR systems support a strong employee experience today while building a foundation for future growth.
This role can be based hybrid from our offices in Raleigh, North Carolina, Dublin, Ohio, or Fairfield, Connecticut, or fully remote within the US working East Coast hours.

The provided salary range reflects the potential base salary for this role in the United States, considering factors such as your professional and academic experience, training, and role responsibilities. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer an attractive total compensation benefits package designed to reward and support our people.

Role responsibilities
People Leadership & Team Development
- Directly manage, coach, and develop direct report(s), setting clear goals and supporting growth in technical and business capability
- Set and maintain standards for quality, documentation, and stakeholder communication, ensuring consistent team accountability
- Build a team a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, and pragmatic problem-solving
Roadmap Execution & Input
- Partner with leadership to shape HR technology strategy, incorporating input from HR COEs and cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive delivery of the HR technology roadmap, recommending adjustments to priorities across build, automation, and integration
- Act as the primary day-to-day liaison between HR, IT, Finance, and vendors, escalating key trade-offs where needed
- Translate strategy into execution, set team priorities accordingly, and flag misalignment early
Systems Implementation & Administration
- Oversee configuration, testing, and rollout of core HR platforms supporting employee data, lifecycle processes, and service delivery
- Ensure system health, data integrity, and governance across the HR technology stack
- Define HR integration requirements and lead UAT; partner with IT and Enterprise Architecture, who own integration design, build, and operations
- Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, escalations, and roadmap input
Process Improvement & Automation
- Champion automation and efficiency, identifying opportunities to reduce manual work
- Guide the design of workflows and self-service tools that streamline HR operation
- Stay current on AI capabilities within HR platforms and propose practical, well-scoped recommendations
Data, Reporting & Governance
- Partner with HR leadership to define key people metrics and build reporting infrastructure
- Oversee development of Power BI dashboards and reporting using enterprise-approved people data sets, in partnership with Enterprise Analytics
- Own the HR data domain within the enterprise governance model, including definitions, business glossary, access administration, and functional audits
- Ensure HR data practices are documented, compliant, and regularly reviewed in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and IT
Change Management & Stakeholder Partnership
- Lead change management for system implementations to drive adoption across HR and the business
- Act as a technology advisor to HR stakeholders, translating needs into system and process requirements
- Support development of training materials and communications for system releases and updates
Do you have what we are looking for?
Skills & expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years' experience in HR systems or HR technology roles, including 1-2 years in people management or team lead roles
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Jira case management strongly preferred, or similar mid-market HR platforms
- Proven experience delivering system implementations or significant platform enhancements
- Strong technical capability, with the ability to understand configurations, build workflows, and support integration troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members in a systems or technical environment
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and automated reporting in Power BI, with ability to guide others
- Working knowledge of data governance principles and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), with experience applying them in HR processes such as data requests and retention
- Interest in emerging HR technology, including AI, with a practical approach to adoption and value delivery
- Execution-focused mindset, able to translate strategy and business needs into clear delivery plans and surface informed recommendations on roadmap pr iorities
- Strong communicator, able to work confidently with both technical teams and senior HR or business stakeholders
- Proven problem-solver who can manage multiple workstreams while maintaining pace and attention to detail
