Job Description

The Manufacturing Supervisor will lead a high-potential team responsible for delivering critical medication to animals within our 503B outsourcing facility environment.

The ideal leader will build an engaged, team-first culture using visual management to align teams, surface challenges, and drive consistent, high-quality execution.

When will you work?
  • The hours for this position are Monday - Friday. Must have flexibility to support business needs

What you'll do:

Operational Leadership
  • Supervise and coordinate activities across production functions, including formulation, aseptic filling, inspection/labeling, and facility sanitization.
  • Ensure all manufacturing activities are executed in compliance with cGMP, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor daily operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

People Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop production staff to drive performance, accountability, and engagement.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through effective communication and leadership presence.
  • Manage timekeeping, attendance, and performance management processes, including disciplinary actions when necessary.

Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current, followed, and effectively trained.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to address deviations, investigations, and documentation issues in a timely manner.
  • Author and support investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA implementation for non-conformances.
  • Lead and support internal audits and regulatory inspections as required.

Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze production performance, including efficiency, downtime, and waste metrics.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to optimize processes, reduce variability, and increase throughput.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving across the team.
    • Support workforce planning and cross-training initiatives to build operational flexibility.

Who you are:
  • Strong Knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations, guidelines and standards.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, proficient in the use of spreadsheets and word processing programs

What you've done:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in a technical or scientific discipline
  • 2+ years' experience in aseptic processing
  • 1+ years' supervisory experience in a cGMP FDA regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading a production or manufacturing team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • Compensation Range is based on experience and location with a target base salary range $120,000-$130,000 a year + bonus based on experience.
