We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Summer Marketing Communications Intern to join our team. As our intern, you will work closely with our Global Marketing Department, contributing to various projects that enhance our organization's communications, marketing, and public presence. This role is ideal for someone wanting to learn about the functions of a marketing department and assist in developing and executing marketing strategies.

Work Location & Minimum Pay Rate
This position is offered fully remote and some travel may be required. This position offers a minimum starting wage of $17/hour, with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Summer Marketing Communications Intern to join our team. As our intern, you will work closely with our Global Marketing Department, contributing to various projects that enhance our organization's communications, marketing, and public presence. This role is ideal for someone wanting to learn about the functions of a marketing department and assist in developing and executing marketing strategies.
What You Will Do:
- Assist with daily administrative tasks
- Design and present new social media campaigns
- Design and present new marketing campaigns
- Monitor all social media platforms for current news, trends, ideas, and content feedback
- Help create and manage email campaigns, podcasts, and social media content
What You Need to Succeed:
- College students pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, agribusiness, animal or dairy science, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks, adjust priorities, manage time, and meet deadlines
Additional Information:
- This internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in marketing, communications, and public relations
- The intern will receive mentorship and guidance from the Director of Global Marketing and the Marketing Communications Specialist and will be an integral part of the team's projects
- This is a Summer internship position working 40 hours per week
