The Medical Assistant Sr. serves as a key member of the healthcare team, providing essential clinical and administrative support under the general supervision of the department manager and Office Supervisor. The Sr. MA is responsible for performing all aspects of the Medical Assistant (MA) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) roles, with a focus on intake areas such as scheduling and performing check-in procedures. Additionally, the Sr. MA serves as a preceptor for other Medical Assistants, guiding and mentoring them in their professional development. With a strong commitment to quality and safety, the Sr. MA ensures adherence to established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, maintaining a high standard of healthcare experience for patients.

Work Experience and Additional Information

Minimum of 2 year of experience working in a Physician Office or Clinical role in a healthcare setting. Completion of PSS Epic Training.
