SUMMARY
The Operational Excellence RN, Tactical Response Team, will work with clinics to improve processes to enhance organizational performance. This role will drive processes aimed at improving quality metrics, operational efficiency, and patient safety. They must have regulatory and licensure knowledge to perform in this role. They will act as subject matter expert, collaborating with various teams to implement policies and procedures, promote best practices, and facilitate continuous improvement across the organization.

- Manage and monitor projects focused on operational processes and quality improvement, providing regular status updates to senior management.
- Develop and implement strategies that align with company goals and enhance quality outcomes, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborates across multi-departments to understand trends and issues impacting field operations. Develops, implements and manages process improvement strategies.
- Utilize data surveillance to analyze and benchmark quality and operational outcomes.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among interdisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and quality metric goals.
- Serve as the expert on internal systems, clinical policies, and quality improvement tools, providing guidance and support to operations and clinical teams.
- Ensure that all processes adhere to applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings and committees; review incident reports and recommend actions for improvement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights and best practices; facilitate effective meetings and discussions to enhance outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational initiatives and quality goals.
- Remain responsive to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment, demonstrating reliable attendance and commitment to the role.
Additional Responsibilities
- May assume additional roles and responsibilities as needed to support operational needs.
- Participate in strategic planning to align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:
- Must be able to travel 60% to clinics as needed.
- Must possess an associate degree in nursing: bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- 3 years of dialysis nursing experience preferred
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple workflows.
- Proven experience in project management, operational excellence, and quality improvement within a healthcare setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and quality improvement principles.
- Ability to lead training initiatives and foster a culture of mentorship and development.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
- Current RN license in applicable/multiple states. All licenses must be maintained as current and in good standing. Must obtain applicable state license, based on assignment, within state specified time frames.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by the state/region.
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Maintain organizational education training annually and as assigned.
- Attend team/organizational trainings and meetings as assigned
