Job Description

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.

Location:On site at our closed-door pharmacy 7000 Broadway Ste 2-200 Denver, CO 80221

Sign- on bonus: $500

Pay: $20.50hr-$22.50/hr, depending on experience

Schedule: Initially onsite to build team collaboration and proficiency. Rle transitions to hybrid once performance metrics are consistently achieved.

Tuesday-Saturday & Monday-Friday (9:30am-6:00pm and 11:30am-8:00pm)

Sunday-Thursday (rotating schedule 8:00am-4:30pm, 9:30am-6:00pm, 10:30am-7:00pm, 11:30-8pm, 12:30pm-9:00pm)

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:
  • Efficient order entry and follow-up
  • Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
  • Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
  • Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Must work with urgency and timeliness

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy is preferred, but not required (good standing)

Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong computer skills
  • Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
  • Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
  • Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
