POSITION SUMMARY:

To dispense and check prescriptions, oversee the work of the pharmacy technicians, respond to inquiries by physicians, client facilities, and patients. Management skills to promote accuracy of all items dispensed by the pharmacy. Responsible for the continuation of pharmacy management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Dispense and verify prescriptions according to Federal and State regulations, dosage, strength, patient allergies, disease states, drug interactions and formularies.
• Provide physicians, nurses, and patients with therapeutic recommendations and/or medication information and when necessary to resolve patient issues.

SCHEDULE:

• Graveyard shifts only available.

REQUIREMENT:

• Licensed Pharmacist in WA is mandatory.

Compensation: $64.00 - $66.00 per hour
