Under general direction of the purchasing supervisor, takes responsibility for supporting the pharmacy in its goal of maintaining satisfactory inventory levels.

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general direction of the purchasing supervisor, takes responsibility for supporting the pharmacy in its goal of maintaining satisfactory inventory levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory level based on utilization report and purchase history.
- Minimize Fill on Arrivals (FOA) orders.
- Restocking inventory.
- Manage expired, recalled and returned medications.
- Monitor and maintain drug files in computer system.
- Responsible for communicating any changes and all issues to department supervisor.
- Support and work closely with the department supervisor.
- Participate with corporate scheduled physical inventories.
- Other duties as assigned; job duties may vary by location.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician a must.
- 1+year of experience in a LTC Pharmacy setting and high volume pharmacy is preferred but not required.
SCHEDULE:
- Variable according to business needs.
- Shift differentials apply to qualified shifts.
Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
