Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Pharmacy Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of the pharmacy by managing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate and efficient handling of pharmaceutical products and supplies. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, product integrity, and timely fulfillment of orders to support patient care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the standards of the pharmacy according to policies and procedures as well as Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Assemble packaging materials for pharmacy fulfillment operations
  • Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and obtaining appropriate inventory.
  • Apply labels to medication packaging, scan, and assemble into the appropriate staging area in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory controls, including keeping inventory neat and arranged in order, performing periodic physical inventory counts, and performing all physical receipts of inventory.
  • Provide support to other departments, such as quality assurance, finance, supply chain, etc. with respect to deliveries, tracking documents and packages, etc.
  • Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years warehouse, logistics, or pharmacy support experience required
  • Licensed and Certified in Forklift Operation preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, scanning systems)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
