This full-time hourly position is scheduled for 40 hours per week on site at the center.
Would You Be a Great Operations Support Associate?

As an Operational Support Associate, you will be at the forefront of plasma collection, performing procedures with safety, accuracy, and efficiency top of mind. Reporting to the Center Manager, you will be responsible for executing all manual and clerical tasks related to donor collection while providing essential support to various center activities. Along with your technical expertise, this role calls for strong interpersonal and communication skills to give donors a positive, professional experience. Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all Center SOPs, customer and QPP requirements, and government regulations.
  • Perform and assist in unit processing, storage, inventory control, and distribution activities.
  • Assist with all donor room activities, including opening and closing duties, donor screening, and setting up/taking down plasma pheresis machines.
  • Prepare donor samples for processing and shipping according to SOP and customer/vendor requirements.
  • Communicate with customers regarding POs, collections, and shipping.
  • Assist in maintaining all donor records and files accurately and up to date.
  • Attend staff meetings and in-services as needed and required.
What You'll Bring

Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: 1+ year of clinical experience, preferably in a plasma setting.
Skills: Proficient with computers for data entry and electronic records.
Attributes: Strong attention to detail; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; adaptability; problem-solving; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift and move items weighing at least 25 lbs. Comfortable working around potentially infectious materials, requiring adherence to universal precautions and safety protocols.
