The Pre-Weigh Technician supports large-scale food manufacturing processes involving sophisticated systems and machinery. This
position weighs and documents materials prior to their use production and ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently and
to specification.

Estimated starting annual base salary is $21.55 per hour less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pre-weigh materials as needed, including preparing documentation and labels, coordinating delivery of materials, verifying
    status in system (AMAPS) and updating pallet placard quantities (using QR codes).
  • Understand and follow recipes and written instructions.
  • Ensure use of raw materials based on specifications.
  • Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary condition.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently as needed for each job.
  • Work in a team environment and perform under GMP, Safety and Company guidelines.
  • Identify potential defects in materials and bring attention to the issue.
  • Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in a light industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and safe food handling.
  • Knowledge of mathematics performing calculations and conversions.
  • Intermediate reading comprehension, decision-making, teamwork, time-management, analytical and mechanical skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in food production and/or packaging items such as bottles, bulk cases and bags.
  • Proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Office and/or production software.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires
standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or
move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision,
distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
