The opportunity

At Riparian, we are transforming the Life Science industry through next generation enterprise software powered by data, analytics, and intelligent automation. We are seeking a Product Manager for Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning who can provide clear direction and vision for AI/ML driven capabilities, translate business and client needs into scalable intelligent solutions, and work closely with engineering, data science, and client teams to deliver measurable value.

This role requires a strong balance of product thinking, technical fluency in AI/ML concepts, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Role responsibilities

• Drive product planning and implementation for AI/ML enabled features and platforms
• Define and document product requirements for AI/ML use cases and ensure they are successfully implemented and validated
• Analyze client and business needs to identify opportunities where AI/ML can improve efficiency, accuracy, or user experience
• Partner with data science and engineering teams to shape models, workflows, and system integrations
• Help clients understand and adopt AI/ML powered functionality, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Evaluate competitor and market offerings in AI/ML, identifying opportunities for differentiation and innovation
• Provide requirements for features to be developed
• Prioritize AI/ML initiatives, enhancements, and technical debt as part of release planning
• Collaborate closely with engineering and data science teams on solution design and feasibility
• Coordinate with QA and data teams on testing, validation, and monitoring of AI/ML models and outputs
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap for AI/ML capabilities aligned with business goals
• Interact with clients, users, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and measure value realization

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

• 3 years of experience in product management, data products, or intelligent software solutions
• Experience working with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or advanced analytics concepts (e.g., predictive models, automation, or decision support systems)
• Experience delivering modern software products in Agile or iterative development environments
• Experience with product design and user experience (UX)
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive product requirements, user stories, and use cases for technical audiences
• Experience collaborating with engineering, data science, and QA teams
• Familiarity with product and project management tools such as JIRA
