Position Summary
The Production Technician supports manufacturing operations in an FDA and cGMP-regulated environment. This role involves operating equipment, supporting production processes, and ensuring quality and compliance with established procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a team-based, fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform production activities in compliance with FDA and cGMP standards
- Operate, clean, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment
- Load/unload and package IV bags
- Move materials, including pallets
- Complete cleaning tasks and document activities in logbooks
- Accurately record batch data using good documentation practices
- Assist across production lines or departments as needed
- Complete required training on time
- Follow all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or production experience
- Experience in a regulated (FDA/cGMP) environment preferred
Skills
- Basic mechanical/technical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to follow procedures and work under supervision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Combination of sitting, standing, and light physical activity
- Work in a production/manufacturing environment with standard safety requirements
