Role: Program Manager with deep Salesforce expertise
Duration: 6-12+ Months contract
Location: Woodland Hills, CA - Remote


Note: IT project manager/program manager with experience managing Salesforce & Data Projects

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with deep Salesforce expertise and active Salesforce certification(s) to lead large-scale, multi-workstream Salesforce programs for enterprise clients. This role requires a strong blend of program governance, stakeholder management, Salesforce domain knowledge, and delivery excellence across Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, and platform integrations.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, ensuring Salesforce initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership

Lead end-to-end Salesforce programs spanning multiple projects, teams, and geographies.
Define program vision, roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
Ensure consistent delivery across Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Platform).
Drive Agile / SAFe / hybrid delivery models aligned with enterprise standards.

Salesforce Expertise & Governance
Serve as the Salesforce subject-matter leader for program planning, estimation, and solution alignment.
Partner with Architects and Product Owners to ensure scalable, secure, and best-practice Salesforce solutions.
Ensure adherence to Salesforce release management, DevOps, and compliance standards.
Proactively manage risks related to platform limits, integrations, data migration, and security.

Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, including client executives.
Translate business objectives into actionable Salesforce program plans.
Provide executive-level reporting on program status, risks, financials, and outcomes.
Manage vendor and partner relationships where applicable.

Financial & Resource Management
Own program budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization.
Manage cross-functional delivery teams including Salesforce admins, developers, testers, and analysts.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources across onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams.
Change, Quality & Continuous Improvement
Drive organizational change management and user adoption strategies.
Ensure high quality through governance, metrics, and continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities to improve Salesforce delivery processes and accelerators.

Required Qualifications
Experience & Skills

8+ years of experience in program or large-scale project management.
5+ years of hands-on experience managing Salesforce implementations in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, customization, and integrations.
Proven experience delivering programs with multiple Salesforce clouds and complex integrations.
Expertise in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models.
Strong financial, risk, and dependency management skills.

Salesforce Certification (Mandatory)
Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
One or more of the following preferred:
Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Domain Architect (highly desirable)
Program / Project Certifications (Preferred)
PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe Agilist
Scrum Master or Agile Coach certification
