Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented QC Inspector, to perform inspections of incoming materials and support quality operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history, excellent attendance, personal accountability, and a commitment to performing quality work.
Technical skills can be trained for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and receive goods for quality.
• Complete inspection records and maintain quality documentation.
• Check and unload incoming shipments.
• Count, weigh, and measure materials against invoices, orders, bills of landing, and other records.
• Identify shortages, damaged materials, and non-conforming materials.
• Maintain the receiving area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Route materials to the appropriate departments.
• Work with other departments to resolve discrepancies and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and receiving activities.
• Perform basic testing and sampling procedures.
• Support ongoing quality projects.
• Enter data and prepare reports using computer systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous Quality Control, Quality Inspection, Receiving, or Warehouse experience preferred.
• Mechanical inspection experience preferred.
• Experience in an FDA- or ISO-regulated environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, or other measuring tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, FDA QSR, ISO 9000, or ISO 13485 is a plus.
• Basic MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and "do it right the first time " mindset.
