The main purpose of the QC Specialist position is to provide support to the Quality Control department through various job functions.

The location is based in Texas.

The position is onsite.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities:

Receiving, Quarantining and Releasing Products
  • Chemical bulk receipt processing, inspection and release.
  • Device bulk receipt processing, inspection and release.
  • Maintain Quarantine Areas.

Calibration and Maintenance
  • Maintain calibration and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain equipment list.
  • Schedule calibration and maintenance services.
  • Monitor environmental conditions throughout location.

Quality Events and Document Control
  • Perform investigations (Deviations, NCMRs, CAPAs, SCARs).
  • Initiate Change Controls.
  • Quality review of documents.
  • File and organization of various documentation when assigned.
  • Support functions of QC Inspectors and assist when requested.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associates/Bachelor's degree in a Science related field or relevant pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in Quality Control environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent English (oral & written) required.
  • Proven decision making and problem solving skills; applies judgment.
  • Detail oriented is a must.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required; Syspro/MasterControl an asset.
  • Ability to lift to 60 lbs.
