Job Title: Quality Technician I - Chemistry

  • Support key benchwork activities in a high throughput production style laboratory.
  • Learn and perform lab techniques including but not limited to titrations, UV/Vis, GC, pH, RI, specific gravity dilutions and histochemistry.

Location: This position is onsite in our Kalamzoo office. The working hours are 5:00am-1:30pm Mondays - Fridays.

What you will do:
  • Perform lab analysis under supervision as well as independently.
  • Analyze and review testing data.
  • Support Document Control system through proper documentation compliant with ISO 13485 and Epredia requirements.
  • Prepare standards.
  • Calibrate instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with staff to meet goals among shifting priorities.
  • Raw material approval.
  • Participate in laboratory inventory and ordering.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or similar.
  • Proficient in MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • 1+ year laboratory and data collection experience.

The hiring range for this position is: $52,000 - $60,000 plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
