General Summary
Eisai is seeking a motivated and curious intern to join our Clinical IT team. In this role, you will work closely with Eisai IT Team Leads and cross-functional colleagues to assess and test various AI platforms (co-pilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for the Clinical business functions.
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity for a student currently enrolled in a technical degree program to build practical experience with AI technologies while gaining exposure to pharmaceutical R&D operations.
What You'll Do
Work with the Clinical IT Lead and team members to catalog use cases where AI could provide value either to IT or the business function. Document high level requirements and success factors for each AI use case Assess, test and setup AI tools and websites for prioritized AI use cases Establish prompts to build models wherever required Demo AI tools to IT and business teams
Skills You Will Gain

Experience & Education Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution in a relevant field (Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Data Science, or related discipline)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must be a rising junior or senior
- Ability to work onsite at our Nutley, NJ office three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday)
- Local candidates preferred due to the onsite requirement
- Willingness to be curious, work with individuals inside and outside of Security to learn about the pharma industry.
