Novocure is a global medical device company with R&D based in Haifa.  The company is growing quickly as it commercializes TTFields therapy: a novel treatment for aggressive cancers using alternating electric fields.

We are looking for a Research Assistant Student to join our preclinical team.

The Research Assistant Student is required to assist in all research activities according to the procedures and to record scientific reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for performing in vivo / in vitro experiments according to good laboratory practice.
• Responsible for maintenance of the laboratory area, working surfaces, and lab equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

Qualifications: 

• Student of Life Sciences / Biology or any similar field - with at least 2  years of studies remaining, first-year student- an advantage 

Knowledge:

• Availability for at least  4 days during a weekend in one month (Friday/Saturday) as well as holiday evenings and holidays (average of 36 hours per month)

• Availability for training period - between one and a half to three months, in the middle of the week
• Willing to work with animals (Rodents) as part of the in-vivo lab
