Our platform for allogeneic CAR-T cells can potentially deliver life-saving treatments to patients consistently and quickly. Critical to that mission is understanding the factors that define good and bad donors, as well as good and bad CAR-T lots. As part of our team in Immuno-Oncology, you will use a multitude of analytical approaches to class donors for clinical use across all of Poseida’s CAR-T programs. Further, we will use this data as the foundation to improve CAR-T efficacy. Success in this effort would greatly enable Poseida’s ability to rapidly deliver CAR-T therapies to those patients in need. Come join our team and help make allogeneic CAR-T therapy a reality!

  • Support preclinical research and the evaluation of T cells, and their resulting CAR-T cells, for their manufacturability and downstream efficacy as CAR-T cells through flow cytometry and in vivo analysis
  • Analyze and interpret data to assess T cell quality, health, and efficacy in a data-driven holistic approach
  • Organize and maintain lymphocyte, and other raw material, inventory through electronic documentation
  • Other lab work may include: molecular biology and cloning, tissue culture of human cell lines, and isolation of cells from blood products
  • Communicate experimental results and issues in a concise and timely manner to colleagues.

  • Proficiency in multi-parameter flow cytometry and FACS data analysis via FlowJo is preferred
  • Aseptic cell culture technique
  • Experience with the characterization, expansion, and manipulation of T cells or CAR-T is preferred
  • Excellent record keeping & data management skills required.
  • Ability to organize, communicate, and present complex data sets to key stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communicator with track record of working effectively as an individual contributor and in teams

Research Associate Pay Rate: $32.21/hour to $36.00/hour

Research Associate II Pay Rate:  $36.54/hour to $42.00/hour
