Our client, a fast-growing healthcare revenue cycle performance optimization and analytics organization supporting physician practices and provider groups nationwide, is seeking a Revenue Cycle Performance Insights Consultant to join their team.
Summary:
The Revenue Cycle Performance Insights Consultant translates operational and financial performance data into actionable recommendations that improve client outcomes, retention, and service delivery effectiveness.
This role supports data-driven decision-making across the client portfolio by identifying trends, performance risks, and optimization opportunities within revenue cycle workflows. The consultant partners with Client Success, Systems Implementation, and Coding teams to guide improvement strategies through analytics-backed insights.

This role supports data-driven decision-making across the client portfolio by identifying trends, performance risks, and optimization opportunities within revenue cycle workflows. The consultant partners with Client Success, Systems Implementation, and Coding teams to guide improvement strategies through analytics-backed insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Analytics & Trend Identification
- Analyze revenue cycle KPIs across assigned client portfolios
- Identify performance gaps, revenue leakage drivers, and emerging risks
- Interpret denial trends, AR aging patterns, and throughput inefficiencies
- Support prioritization of corrective action plans
Client Performance Strategy Support
- Translate KPI insights into operational recommendations
- Support development of client-specific performance improvement plans
- Monitor effectiveness of implemented action plans
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue capture and workflow efficiency
Portfolio-Level Reporting & Visibility
- Develop dashboards, summaries, and performance narratives for internal stakeholders
- Support leadership visibility into portfolio-level trends and risk indicators
- Standardize interpretation of KPIs across service teams
- Assist with development of performance scorecards and tracking tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Client Success Analysts on KPI-driven account strategies
- Support Systems Implementation Consultants with workflow optimization insights
- Collaborate with Coding Quality Consultants on denial pattern interpretation
- Align reporting outputs with organizational performance priorities
Qualifications:
- 4-7+ years of physician revenue cycle experience
- Strong understanding of end-to-end RCM workflows (front-end through AR)
- Experience analyzing KPI performance across multiple provider clients
- Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into operational recommendations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, trend modeling, KPI tracking)
- Experience working with EMR/EHR reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in outsourced RCM delivery environments
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks reporting structures
- Experience supporting multi-client performance portfolios
- Exposure to fee schedule analysis and reimbursement modeling
- Experience building performance dashboards or scorecards
