What the Scientific Associate, Biomarker Analysis does at Worldwide
As a Scientific Associate in Biomarker Analysis your role involves method development, validation, and sample analysis for ligand binding assays. What the Scientific Associate, Biomarker Analysis does at Worldwide
As a Scientific Associate in Biomarker Analysis your role involves method development, validation, and sample analysis for ligand binding assays. You'll work closely with the supervisor to ensure accurate and efficient execution of bioanalytical processes. If you're passionate about advancing bioanalysis science, this role is for you.
What you will do
- Perform equipment maintenance and operation: Ensure proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance such as freezers and fridges, plate shakers and plate readers
- Conduct bioanalytical assays such as Ligand Binding Assays for example MSD (Meso Scale Discovery) singleplex and multiplex assays and ELISA assays
- Perform good documentation: thoroughly document all procedures, including steps, reagents, and instrument settings
- Perform mathematic calculations
- Maintain clear and organized records for traceability and audit purposes
- Properly handle and store biological samples in freezers and maintain accurate records of sample locations and conditions
What you will bring to the role
- Experienced in MSD, ELISA, and PCR is a plus
- Experienced in LIM system is a plus
- Ability to read, execute, and understand complicated and detailed instruction and technical literature to plan, perform, and direct laboratory activities
- Excellent attention to detail
Your experience
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (immunology, biology, biochemistry, or related field) with a minimum of 0-1 years of direct laboratory experience
