Job Description

Summary: With over forty pharmacies in twenty states and cutting-edge technology, Apotheco Medicinals is one of the leading pharmacies specializing in the dispensing of dermatological therapies. This position will serve as the primary support professional to the General Counsel and the Legal Department. As a member of the legal team, the Sr. Legal Analyst is responsible for aiding the General Counsel in their management of all legal services and advice for the Company. .

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned;
  • Preparation and submission of all regulatory filings including but not limited to 50-state board of pharmacy licenses, DEA registrations, Medicare, and state Medicaid registrations for individual Company pharmacies.
  • Maintenance of all credentials for pharmacy benefit managers ("PMS") for individual Company pharmacies.
  • Assist with legal and compliance due diligence on acquisition targets and oversee integration of new locations into Apotheco's portfolio of companies
  • Maintain the corporate formation documents and manage the formation of new entities to ensure registration at appropriate county, city, state and federal levels
  • Assist GC with initial review of contracts, leases and other legal documents
  • Maintain contract and licensure database for the Company
  • Assist with regulatory trainings and policy development
  • Coordinate with Company stakeholders such as the Operations, IT, and Human Resources Departments resolve legal or compliance issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
  • Pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred but not required
  • College degree strongly preferred.
  • Contract management experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively within various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work remotely with travel as needed.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with Microsoft 365 and familiar with use of AI legal tools.
