Job Description
At Novonesis, we are redefining biological solutions to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability. As part of our Global Regulatory Affairs function, you will join a collaborative and high-impact team supporting the registration and legal sale of Plant Biosolutions worldwide.
You will become part of a 9-person global regulatory team, working alongside experts enabling innovation and compliance across global markets. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with a US-based regional regulatory team of three, ensuring alignment and execution within key markets.
The Role & Your Impact
As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping regulatory strategies that enable the successful development and commercialization of biofertilizers, plant inoculants, and biocontrol solutions.
Your impact will include:
- Acting as a global regulatory expert, supporting pipeline product development projects
- Leading global regulatory strategy coordination and contributing to cross-functional product development teams
- Serving as regional regulatory lead for plant inoculant and biocontrol development and lifecycle management (LCM) projects
- Utilizing advanced regulatory data systems (e.g., Veeva), with potential to act as a global superuser
- Driving strong stakeholder engagement and communication across regions and functions
- Contributing innovative, solution-oriented thinking to complex regulatory challenges
This role spans both strategic influence and operational execution, with success driven by collaboration, insight, and proactive problem-solving.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
We are looking for a strong regulatory professional with a passion for science and global collaboration.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Toxicology, or similar)
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant regulatory experience
- Fluency in English
- Ability to travel occasionally (domestic and international)
Core competencies:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional, global environments
- High level of organization, structure, and accountability
Additional Skills & Interests We Value

- Experience working with biological products, agriculture, or plant biosolutions
- Familiarity with regulatory data management systems (e.g., Veeva)

Ways of Working
- Preferred location: Raleigh / RTP area, USA
- Hybrid model: ~3 days per week in office
- Standard 40-hour work week
- Travel requirement: ~10% (domestic and international)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $115,000-$125,000 based on experience
- Annual bonus potential: ~5%
- 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
