What You'll Be Doing:

• Works closely with the Chief Operating Officer to set and prioritize overall functional strategic goals including aligning on annual budgets and multi-year strategy; develops and execute on a business plan to facilitate growth within functional area
• Owns the business unit P&L and is accountable for hitting operational and financial target
• Responsible for the oversight of the global business and the recruitment and retention of talent
• Promotes a culture of high performance that values a commitment to growing revenue by delivering quality on-time, on budget, and utilizes processes to drive continuous improvement
• Monitors and reviews business unit project activities and ensures that they are brought to completion within scope, timelines and budget profitability
• Provides quarterly (and ad hoc) performance reviews for leadership meetings
• Serves as a principal strategist who advises, consults, plans, and directs the design and strategy of new business opportunities (RFPs)
• Drives and holds functional senior leadership team accountable for qualitative targets for quality of service, timeliness of delivery, customer satisfaction and business unit strength

What We Are Searching For:

• Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in clinical, science or health related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 20 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry in a project management, clinical research, data management, statistics or regulatory affairs leadership role
• At least 10 years' experience in a management capacity
• Strong knowledge of regulatory, scientific, technical and clinical expertise in conduct of clinical trials in the respective area of focus as demonstrated by past positions related to the therapeutic/specialty area in the CRO and Pharma/Biotech sector
• Has a consultative communication and collaboration approach to the implementation of the project plan with the team and the customer
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Maintains a positive, results oriented work environment
• Fluent in English
• Willing to travel
