Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key liaison between employees and management to foster a positive workplace.
- Responsible for the administration of payroll, timekeeping, and health benefits, including management of supporting technologies.
- Participate in the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and HR documentation.
- Process and verify payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, deductions, taxes, and leaves of absence.
- Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll reports, support audits, and ensure compliance.
- Partner with technology vendors to effectively administer payroll and benefit programs as well as other HR initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact/subject matter expert for employee onboarding, payroll, benefits, and other HR programs.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop and execute effective recruiting tactics.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and culture building activities.
- Assist with performance review processes, training coordination, and workforce development programs.
- Participate in compensation projects, data management and report preparation and analysis.
Requirements
Requirements:
- BS in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR, payroll and benefits experience.
- HRIS/Payroll systems experience; ability to handle technical implementations and support other HR technologies.
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HR/Payroll platforms is required.
- Solid analytical skills with an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; technically savvy and comfortable working with large amounts of data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; clear writing skills are a must.
- Experience supporting high-growth environments is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and execute projects.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, including wage and hour compliance and leave administration.
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters.
