SUMMARY

This role is a highly analytical and strategic leader within our Finance organization. This position will serve as a pivotal strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), acting as the primary architect of the company's holistic financial narrative.

This high-visibility role requires an exceptional communicator who synthesizes complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for board and leadership forums while helping shape the company's external financial story. As a leader, you will mentor a high-performing corporate planning team, fostering a culture of ownership and financial rigor that supports the company's most critical strategic initiatives.

This position will ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, State Departments of Health, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), EMEA and FDA Guidelines, general State and Country Regulations such as but not limited to (CLIA, CAP, USP, ISO 9001, USDA regulations, HTA license, DEA and State Controlled Substance programs) where site appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Enable Commercial Growth Through Insightful Business Partnership
    Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, and Commercial leadership, translating financial and market data into insights that accelerate revenue growth, improve customer outcomes, and inform go-to-market decisions.
  • Lead Commercial Planning and Forecasting to Support Growth Objectives
    Own commercial planning, forecasting, and SG&A oversight with a forward-looking focus on growth drivers, customer demand, pricing dynamics, and investment trade-offs, ensuring plans align with strategic growth priorities.
  • Deliver Actionable Commercial Analytics
    Lead analysis of customer behavior and competitive dynamics to help guide pricing strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Drive Performance Optimization and Strategic Decision Support
    Identify opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness and scalability through scenario modeling, investment analysis, and assessment of strategic initiatives that expand market presence and profitability.
  • Provide Executive-Level Growth Narratives and Reporting
    Develop clear, compelling financial and commercial narratives-supported by dashboards and insights-that enable senior leaders to understand performance, make faster decisions, and confidently allocate resources to growth opportunities.
  • Build and Develop a High-Impact Commercial Analytics Team
    Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A Commercial Analytics team focused on business partnership, commercial acumen, and delivering insights that drive measurable growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience driving commercial outcomes through FP&A, commercial analytics, and strategic business partnership in growth-oriented, sales-driven environments.
  • Proven leader with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams that influence revenue growth, pricing strategy, and go-to-market decisions.
  • Strong commercial and financial modeling expertise, with a track record of translating customer, market, and performance data into actionable growth insights.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, enabling effective partnership with Sales, Marketing, and senior leaders to shape investment and growth decisions.
  • Strategic, enterprise-minded leader with the ability to influence decisions across functions and levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics and commercial systems, including ERP platforms (Sage X3 a plus), Power BI, Salesforce, and business intelligence tools.
